my fav potato logs

I grew up eating POTATO LOGS. There is nothing quite like a small town chicken restaurant's thick cut potato wedges. Like most of my recipes, I figured this one out all thanks to an intense craving. I finally measured everything out and wrote it all down. This is our favorite side when eating burgers and cauliflower wings.  So stoked to share it with you!

Recipe:

2 large russet potatoes

1 Tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon ranch seasoning

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon chili powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon cumin

salt and pepper

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

2. Rinse and cut russet potatoes into 8ish wedges each (varying depending on size, the wider the wedge, the longer they will take to cook!)

3. Place potatoes in a medium bowl and toss to coat with olive oil

4. Mix seasoning in a small bowl, then dump into potato bowl

5. Toss potatoes and coat evenly with seasoning

6. Place seasoned wedges on a baking sheet SKIN SIDE DOWN

7. Bake for 30 minutes or until tender with crispy crust on all sides.

A+ for this one. So tasty! Let me know what you think!
